Ōtaki Repair Café held its biggest ever event this month.
31 volunteers (including 4 children!) gave 113 hours fixing 170 items.
That's an 86% success rate. Diverting over half a tonne of goods from being dumped in landfill.
From 3d printed monkey paws to decades-old bed linen, the fix-its were practical, poignant or both.
The most popular table was for knife sharpening, run by Warm Up Ōtaki's Matt Brenin.
